Faculty of FDU are continually designing study abroad courses that will enrich the education of our students. The upcoming offerings are listed below. Please return to this page regularly, however, to view the list as it gets expanded. FALL 2004 COURSE (Summer 2004 Travel) Must register by April 2004. · Ecological Principles - a 3 credit laboratory course for non-science majors - to be taught in Costa Rica by the School of Natural Sciences of University College · SCIE6514. Selected Studies: Environmental Field Studies: Costa Rica. 3 credit laboratory course for MAS students - to be taught in Costa Rica by the School of Natural Sciences of University College, August 1-15, 2004. A field study of Costa Rican ecosystems. Each field trip culminates with a discussion of possible interaction of the knowledge acquired into teaching of environmental studies in New Jersey. Daily field study includes, but is not limited to, a visit to a tropical rain forest reserve; a bioloigcla reserve; a volcano site with both active and ancient craters; and observation of various endangered birds and animals. · Mathematics of the Renaissance. Course will be taught in Florence, Italy.
