The Agronomist’ Fairleigh Dickinson University in association with the United Nations Association of New York and the Museum of Modern Art, N.Y.C., presented a special screening of the movie “The Agronomist,” by Jonathan Demme, on April 7, at the Film Institute of the Museum of Modern Art. Approximately 70 individuals from the University community attended. The movie covers the life and work of Jean Dominique, formerly an agronomist in Haiti, who became a journalist at Radio Haiti and worked tirelessly to reach out to an exploited population that did not read.
