Professional training can make motorcycling more enjoyable. In fact, learning life-saving techniques can increase your skills and confidence on the road.

The MSF curriculum focuses upon crucial safety skills, which studies have shown are lacking in accident-involved motorcyclists. Since 1973, the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) has set internationally recognized standards of excellence in motorcycle safety education and operating licensing.

This year, Fairleigh Dickinson University is proud to offer the MSF’s latest curriculum upgrades and training techniques. FDU is one of the few motorcycle safety training providers authorized to offer the MSF courses in New Jersey, and is the exclusive site in Bergen County.

Our MSF RiderCoaches (Instructors) are certified by the MSF and the State of NJ. They undergo rigorous training to become eligible to evaluate and coach students. They maintain their high standard of training by attending monthly workshops at FDU, as well as annual MSF and State of NJ updates.
