Appointments can be arranged for special visits with advanced notice. Applicants and their parents are encouraged to attend at least one info-session prior to application. Varrassi MA, LDT-CCampus Director, Regional Center for College Students with Learning Disabilities, Teaneck CampusThe Regional Center for College Students with Learning Disabilities is in its 21st year at FDU. Students who are admitted to the Regional Center receive support services from Regional Center Learning Specialists, instruction in Metacognitive Strategies and assistance receiving accommodations at the University.Regional Center students are successfully integrated into the full array of activities in campus life and have achieved academic success at FDU. I am no longer the Campus Director and have left FDU for full time private practice in DE and NJ. I thank Dr. Mary Farrell, the staff and students for 10 wonderful years. Please join me in congratulating the new Director, Dr. Jodie Dawson on her appointment to Campus Director. I continue to be happy to speak to High School Guidance Counselors, Child Study Team members and to students about the transition to post secondary education. I provide students with a program on self-advocacy and about the differences between IDEA and Section 504 at the Post Secondary level.
