She teaches journalism courses and serves as adviser to The Metro.Prior to coming to FDU, Latson worked for seven years as a reporter for The Plain Dealer of Cleveland, Ohio. Latson earned a bachelor's degree in history from Colgate University and a master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
