| Hailing from Brooklyn, NY, Nestor holds a M.S. in Educational Leadership from Central Connecticut State University and a B.S. in Theatre from SUNY Oneonta. Nestor's professional experiences include working as the Complex Director of Bliss Hall at SUNY New Paltz, and Assistant Director of Student Activities at Salve Regina University. He joined the FDU family on October 15, 2003 as the Assistant Director for Student Life and was promoted to Assistant Dean of Students on February 7, 2005. | NESTOR I. MELENDEZAssistant Dean of StudentsThe Office of the Dean of Students serves as an advocate for students and provides leadership for the Division of Student Affairs. The Division includes the departments of Campus Ministry, Student Counseling and Psychological Services, Student Health Services, Residence Life and Student Life. The Office of the Dean of Students deals primarily with non-academic matters. Generally, students should contact their academic deans for academic issues.
