LehrAssociate Professor of Communication Studies Chair of the Dept. of Communication StudiesDr. Jennifer K. Lehr joined the Department of English, Communication, and Philosophy of Fairleigh Dickinson University in the Fall of 1997. Prior to joining the FDU faculty, Dr. Lehr earned her Ph.D. from Rutgers University. Dr. Lehr is currently serving as Chair of the newly established (July 1, 2008) Department of Communication Studies for the College at Florham. This department includes both the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies as well as the Master of Arts in Corporate & Organizational Communication. Dr. Lehr is also Advisor to Omicron Lambda, the College at Florham's chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, the student honor society of the National Communication Association.In addition to teaching courses in Mass Communication, Advertising, and Corporate Communication, Dr. Lehr has also served as a reader or advisor for numerous Thesis Projects for the MA Program and will be coordinating the Thesis Project course this Spring (2009). Dr. Lehr's work also extends beyond the university. She has done consulting work and conducted workshops on communication and customer service for several organizations including Allied Building Products, The New York Public Library, Mercedes-Benz, and Wyeth's Summer Corporate Internship Program.
