This page uses more advanced features of Pagetoaster. For one thing, it is a second page. A link can be provided to jump back to the previous page.

It is a second page because the pagename, kennedy1, is identical to my first pagename, with the digit 1 added. kennedy2 would be the third page.

In the Content, a table can be created for tabular or spreadsheet-type information.

This page was created only with Pagetoaster. If your page requires features not provided in Pagetoaster, you always have the option to build your page with an authoring tool of your choice and upload it to the alpha server. See Links at right for more information. Here's a quote, to see if "quote marks" work ok now.

Example of a second Pagetoaster page (this is the title)

(This is the contents)

The ability to put more than three links on a page has been the most requested enhancement to Pagetoaster. Here it is: Teaneck-Hackensack
Florham-Madison
It's done with three h ampercodes. The URL goes between the first two. The Description goes between the second two.

Formatting

Formatting your Pagetoaster page is done with messy format codes, but you must believe that HTML (which Pagetoaster is writing for you) is worse. The codes are made up of a pair of ampersands, usually with a letter between them. You will insert these codes at the point in your sidebar or content where you want the format change to occur. So in the preceding sentence, the word sidebar and the word content have a b ampercode (b between two ampersands) before the word and a n ampercode (n between two ampersands) after it.

The format codes:
amper code function
nothing*new paragraph
L new line
t 5 blank spaces
i start italics
u end italics
b start bold
n end bold
a jump to previous page
z jump to next page

The following codes are only valid in the Content, not in the Sidebar:
r start new row of a table
c start a cell of a table
x end a cell of a table
h URL and description for a link (see example at top of this Content section

* i.e. ampersand ampersand with nothing in between
