Joe FariasCampus Chaplain, Catholic ChaplainMy name is Joe Farias and I am a Roman Catholic priest of the Diocese of Paterson. I arrived at Fairleigh Dickinson in 1982 to serve the spiritual needs of students, faculty and staff and have loved it ever since. When I left in the early 90s to work in our central offices, I worked equally hard to return to the university. As you see, I succeeded. Catholic Campus Ministry offers spiritual direction, religious education, scripture study and opportnities for service projects during the week. There is a catholic mass each Sunday evening at 5:15 in the Student Center.You can find me and my partner in ministry, Kevin Donahue, at CCM's information table in the Student Center each Tuesday, 11:30-2 p.m. It is very difficult to access our offices. Besides my chaplain responsibilities, I teach Freshman Seminar in the fall semester and am involved in Greek life on Campus, particularly with Phi Sigma Kappa.
