I have been researching material for a book on American popular periodicals in the 1920s. My most recent publication is an article about American periodicals from 1870-1920 in American History Through Literature, ed. Quirk and Scharnhorst (Scribners 2006) In Spring 2008 I am teaching ENGL 3010 English Language and ENGL 3029 Chaucer and serving as chair of the English/Communication and Philosophy department.
