Workshop on Doing Business with the State and Federal Goverment
Teaneck, NJ (September 3, 2008) — The director of the NJIT Defense Procurement Center, Dolcey E. Chaplin, Esq., will lead a three-hour workshop on “How to Do Business with the Federal and State Governments.” The workshop, on Wednesday, October 1, will introduce small business owners and entrepreneurs to the process for securing government contracts on the state and federal level.
This is an opportunity to learn how to market goods and services to the government. The United States Department of Defense alone will spend approximately $250 billion, with purchases within the $100,000 range earmarked for small businesses. Companies that are able to deliver a quality product or service, on time and at a competitive cost, should consider attending this workshop.
The workshop will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 from 10 a.m.- 1 p.m. in Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Dickinson Hall, Cyber Crime Lab. Dickinson Hall is located at 140 University Plaza Drive, Hackensack, NJ, close to Route 4 off Hackensack Avenue South.
