Start Your Own Part-Time Business: A Workshop for Women
Madison, NJ (January 10, 2007) — A workshop for women who want to build a flexible part-time professional business will be held on January 24, 2007, at the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies, at Fairleigh Dickinson’s College at Florham, Madison, NJ, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
It is for women who want to start a business while raising a family, women in job transition, mothers leaving or rejoining the workforce and anyone who is tired of a corporate environment and wants to be on their own.
Based on the best-selling book “Full Time Woman/Part Time Career” by Karen Steede-Terry, this interactive workshop will be facilitated by Theresa Smith, president of Bright Moment Coaching and Consulting Services, and Renee Sussman, life, business and workplace coach.
Attendees will be given resources to help them excel at their “dream business” and develop a long-range business plan. The workshop will feature case studies of women who have started their own successful businesses and there will be opportunities to learn about and to discuss a variety of career options.
The workshop is co-sponsored by FDU’s Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies and The New Jersey Association of Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) Women’s Business Center.
