Winston I.Lowe, Esq. Honored by Fairleigh Dickinson University
Inducted into The PinnacleMadison, NJ (April 24, 2001) Winston I. Lowe, Esq., corporate lawyer and strategic adviser on mergers and acquisitions for Winston I. Lowe, P.C., was inducted into The Pinnacle, the highest award Fairleigh Dickinson University bestows on its alumni.
In a ceremony at the University on April 20, Lowe, valedictorian of his Rutherford campus class, was honored for his leadership in the corporate arena and his compassion for his community.
He previously served as a partner in the corporate finance area of Oppenheimer, Wolff and Donnelly and was formerly the senior vice president, general counsel and secretary of General Electric Railcar Services Corporation. While at GE, he was honored with the President’s Award.
A resident of Winnetka, Il., Lowe serves on the board of directors of the Heartland Alliance for Human Rights/Chicago Connections. He has been tireless in raising funds for disadvantaged children, served on the board of directors of Big Brothers and Sisters and CYCLE, a nonprofit organizations providing educational support services.
He serves his alma mater as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University.
His citation at the ceremonies concluded with "At home, in the board room and in the community, your steadfast allegiance to what matters most places you in a class by yourself. …for ascending to uncommon heights, Fairleigh Dickinson University honors you with induction into The Pinnacle."
