Three Days, Three Ways to Experience Great Wine and Food
Madison, NJ (March15, 2007) óFor lovers of great wine and food, an exciting weekend is planned at the fifth New Jersey Annual Wine & Food Classic on April 26-28, 2007, hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson University.
There will be tastings, gourmet wine dinners, and hands-on seminars and spirited discussions óall open to the public. Wine and food enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience great wines from around the world, participate in interactive wine and food seminars, and enjoy dinners that pair a variety of cuisines with an array of wines.
On Thursday, April 26, the Classic will commence with a series of dynamic wine dinners featuring top New Jersey restaurants and great wineries from around the world.
On Friday, April 27, over 500 wine enthusiasts will attend the Grand Tasting featuring the finest wines from fifty wineries from around the world and mouth-watering signature dishes from eight top New Jersey restaurants. A silent auction of hospitality delights is an added attraction.
Guests registered for the tasting will have access to a selection of wine, food, dining, travel lodging, and spa services.
The Grand Tasting, which will take place from 6-9 pm., will be held in The Mansion at FDUís College at Florham, Madison, NJ. The setting is the former Vanderbilt-Twombly estate, Florham.
On Saturday, April 28, six wine and food seminars will be held from noon-5:00 pm at the Hyatt Morristown, Morristown, NJ, where industry experts will lead spirited and interactive seminars covering top wine trends.
Proceeds from the New Jersey Annual Wine and Food Classic will benefit students through the Scholarship Fund of the International School of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Fairleigh Dickinson University.
