United Nations Pathway Forum to present Winds of Change: Role of Chinese Youth in the Future of China panel
Teaneck, NJ (March 23, 2012) — Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Office of Global Learning, will offer a free panel discussion about the role the Chinese youth will play in the future of China on April 14th. This event is open to the public and will take place in the multipurpose room of the Student Union building on the Metropolitan campus, Teaneck, NJ, a reception will be held at 6 p.m., the program will begin at 6:30 p.m.
The panel for the discussion will include Xianya Du, a Chinese-international MBA marketing major, Zerong Ding, finance major, and Liang Ren a junior accounting major, Dr. Zong Chen, associate professor in computer science and Eli Amdur a graduate adjunct professor, Peiran Xu, a sophomore communications major with an art minor, will moderate.
The panel will explore historical, political, social, and economic context, as well as, exploring topics such as, the influence these changes has on Chinese youth and how the youth cope with these dramatic changes.
China has been facing dramatic changes in the past few decades such as extraordinary economic growth, population explosion, and a significant increase in the number of Chinese students studying abroad.
