MADISON, NJ (September 29, 2006) – At a University-wide convocation on September 27, Fairleigh Dickinson University’s president J. Michael Adams presented a Presidential Citation to Diane Keyser Wentworth, Associate Professor of Psychology and Chair of the Psychology Department at the University’s College at Florham.
The president honored Wentworth for her prominent role in the two-year review process that resulted in the university’s recent re-accreditation by Middle States Commission on Higher Education.
In awarding the citation, Adams said, “Diane Wentworth, an esteemed professor, was co-chair of the Steering Committee. Diane is the quintessential truth seeker, constantly searching for multiple viewpoints and perceptively connecting the strands that unite our community. An articulate advocate for the faculty point of view, she balanced that important role with sensitivity and consideration toward the many needs of diverse groups. Skillful in handling multiple tasks, while keeping her eyes perpetually focused on the big picture, Diane’s precision and persistence set the tone for all involved.”
