Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Venture Creation Program Seeks NJ businesses and non-profits
Does your business need strategic advice to reach the next level? Would you like a fresh perspective about potential entrepreneurial strategies that can help your organization? Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Silberman College of Business has a solution.
Each semester, Fairleigh Dickinson’s advanced MBA students — under the supervision of successful entrepreneurs, angel investors and top faculty members — form consulting teams to partner with New Jersey-based ventures to provide entrepreneurial and innovative business strategies, creative business models and effective business plans.
The FDU Venture Creation and Development Program has helped more than 200 organizations since it started in 1992. If your venture is chosen, the only cost is a $250 donation to help defray costs of market research, customer surveys, printing and related administrative expenses.
For 15 weeks, an FDU Venture Creation student team will work with you and your management team to conduct industry and market research, gather information and craft creative strategic proposals to help you achieve your business goals.
The FDU Venture Creation and Development Program is accepting applications through Jan. 13, 2010, for the spring 2010 semester. The program will take place on both the Madison and Teaneck campuses. For more information and to request an application, contact Professor Gina Tedesco, gtedesco@fdu.edu, 908-696-8884 or 973-216-6267; or Professor Lindsey Greene Barrett, lgreene@fdu.edu, 201-739-9254.
FDU’s Venture Creation and Development Program is a collaboration of the Silberman College of Business Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship and the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies.
