University Honors Program Research Day
(April 20, 2009) — The University Honors Program offers gifted and motivated students the opportunity to pursue a course of study combining a broad liberal education with guided study in a major field.Students are able to pursue specialized internships, to take advantage of the cultural and educational resources of New York City and New Jersey, and to undertake independent research and to prepare a senior honors thesis.
Guided by a faculty mentor, the student focuses on the honors thesis during their senior year. In April, Honors Program students present their theses to faculty, students, family and friends.
On April 22, students at the Metropolitan Campus and the College at Florham participate in University Honors Research Day and present their research. The campus community is encouraged to attend these presentations and support these outstanding students.
