Three Kings Celebration for Families at Fairleigh Dickinson
Teaneck, NJ (December 17, 2004) — To mark the festive end of the holiday season, The Gateway to the Future (Puerta al Futuro) program at Fairleigh Dickinson University invites families to a special Visit of the Three Kings celebration on Thursday, January 6, 2005. From 6-8 p.m. there will be entertainment, refreshments, gifts and the appearance of the Three Kings.
According to Deborah Gonzalez, the director of the Puerta al Futuro program, the Hispanic community embraces this celebration as an important part of the holiday season. “We want to encourage families to join us for good food, festive music and special gifts for the children, “ she said. “This is one more example of how Fairleigh Dickinson University is opening its doors to the Hispanic community.”
In addition to the University, Puerta al Futuro welcomes the support of Bergen County Freeholder-elect Thomas Padilla, Goya Foods for providing refreshments, Panorama Latino News for music, Patricia Bullon for donation of toys and the FDU community for their donation of children’s books.
The Visit of the Three Kings celebration will be held in the Commons of FDU’s Edward Williams Building, 150 Kotte Place, Hackensack, NJ, on the Hackensack side of the FDU campus. The Edward Williams Building is close to Route 4, off Hackensack Avenue South.
