Teens "discover business" at FDU summer camp
On College at Florham Campus, July 9-13 and the Metropolitan Campus, July 16-20, 2012
Madison, NJ (May 1, 2012) —The popular "Discover Business" Teen Camp, will once again be offered this summer at the College at Florham Campus in Madison, NJ from July 9-13 and the Metropolitan Campus, in Teaneck, NJ from July 16-20, 2012.
The camp is open to teens entering grades 9-12. Experienced and responsible adult instructors and counselors will lead all classes and activities.
During this week long day camp, organized classes and activities will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Campers will be immersed in communication and research skills, group dynamics, marketing, personal finance and investing, and introduced to business planning and entrepreneurship, learning skills essential to business and life. Participants also will be able to choose from a variety of other activities, including dodge ball, kickball, Frisbee, and nature walks.
The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship, Fairleigh Dickinson’s nationally recognized entrepreneurship center, sponsors the camp. Faculty and staff members will lead all workshops and skill sessions. Tuition is $490, with a $20 registration fee; all registration must be completed by June 19.
