FDU vs. Target Softball Game, April 29, 2005
To Benefit Tomorrows Children's Fund
Teaneck, NJ (April 7, 2005) —Families can enjoy a fun-filled evening on Friday, April 29, 2005 when a softball team from Fairleigh Dickinson University plays a 7-inning game against a team from the Hackensack Target store. The game will begin at 6 p.m. on FDU’s softball field on the Metropolitan Campus in Hackensack.
The event will raise funds for Tomorrows Children’s Fund (TCF), a privately funded non-profit organization that eases the pain and suffering of children fighting cancer or serious blood disorders. Donations to TCF will be accepted during the game.
Throughout the evening, Z-100 Party Patrol and Greg T will provide additional entertainment. Greg T is an FDU alumnus who graduated in 1996 with a degree in Communications from Fairleigh Dickinson’s Metropolitan Campus.
A variety of activities will be taking place between 6–8 p.m. These will include home run Derby, “Tricky Tray” raffles, a 50/50 raffle, and children’s crafts. Refreshments, including grilled hot dogs, soda, water, Cracker Jacks and candy will be sold, with all proceeds going to TCF.
