Candidate Guadagno to Appear in “Politics on the PublicMind” Presentation
Madison, NJ (October 22, 2009) — Sheriff Kim Guadagno, candidate for lieutenant governor on the Republican ticket, will be appearing in the “Politics on the PublicMind” lecture series on Monday, October 26 at the Library on Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham from 12 -1:30 p.m. Guadagno will present her ideas on “A Brighter Future for All of New Jersey.” A question-and-answer period will follow.
Guadagno, the first female sheriff of Monmouth County, oversees over 600 employees and a budget of $65 million. She is responsible for a 1328-bed jail, a youth detention center and a police communications emergency dispatch center. She has served as an assistant United States attorney and an assistant attorney general and as deputy director of the state Division of Criminal Justice from 1998-2000. Attendees will be able to pose questions after her presentation. Registration is necessary as a light lunch will be available.

On Friday, November 13, at 9:30 a.m., a “Politics on the PublicMind” Election Autopsy will host Assemblyman and NJ State Democratic Party Chair Joseph Cryan, and Assemblyman and NJ State Republican Party Chair Jay Webber.
The public is invited to attend all “Politics on the PublicMind” seminars, which are sponsored by Fairleigh Dickinson University’s PublicMind polling institute and the College at Florham Library. Seating is limited and reservations are necessary. A donation to the “Friends of the Library” to help cover the cost of the seminars would be appreciated.
