New Trustee Appointed

Robert Saltarelli Named to Board of Trustees at Fairleigh Dickinson University

Teaneck, NJ (April 16, 2001) Robert T. Saltarelli, managing director for PNC Advisors, has been named to the Board of Trustees of Fairleigh Dickinson University for a term of three years.

Dr. J. Michael Adams, president of the University, said, "I look forward to working with Bob Saltarelli. His exceptional business experience is matched by his knowledge and dedication to the cultural and intellectual life of New Jersey. He will be a valuable addition to our Board."

Since 1994, Saltarelli has held progressive senior management positions with PNC. Currently, he is the managing director for PNC Advisors where he has responsibility for investment management, trust, and estate planning in New Jersey, Northeast Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Boston, Mass.

Prior to joining PNC Financial Services Group, he was senior vice president of First Fidelity Bankís Institutional Trust Group. He began his career with U.S. Trust of New York where he served for nearly thirteen years.

In addition to his Trustee appointment at Fairleigh Dickinson, Saltarelli serves as a trustee of the Papermill Playhouse, the Community Theater of Morristown, the George Street Playhouse, the Tri-County Scholarship Fund, and Caldwell College. He is a member of the Raritan Bay Hospital Foundation Planned Giving Committee, past president of the N.J. Bankers Financial Management and Trust Division and a founding board member of the American Bankers Association Employee Benefit Trust School.

Saltarelli holds a business management degree from St. Peterís College, where he graduated with honors, and is a graduate of the American Bankers Personal Trust School and the New York State Bankers Trust School. He and his wife Janet have two children.

Fairleigh Dickinson University, one of the largest private universities in New Jersey, has nearly 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students from 30 states and more than 60 countries enrolled on the Universityís two Northern New Jersey campuses and its overseas campuses in Wroxton, England, and Tel Aviv, Israel.
