Second Annual Tri-Collegiate Psychology Research Symposium to be Held at FDUMADISON, N.J. (February 24, 2010) — The Second Annual Tri-Collegiate Psychology Research Symposium, sponsored by Fairleigh Dickinson University, Drew University, and the College of Saint Elizabeth, will be held at FDU’s College at Florham on Thursday, April 15, 2010, from 4–7 p.m. in Hennessy Hall.
The Tri-Collegiate Psychology Research Symposium provides undergraduate, graduate, and high school students with an opportunity to showcase their research in the field of psychology. A panel of judges made up of faculty from FDU, Drew University, will judge student presentations and the College of St. Elizabeth and the winners will win cash prizes. The prizes for undergraduates are $150 and $75 and the prizes for high school students are $100 and $50. Light refreshments will be served.
Dr. Daniel J. Calcagnetti, an associate professor of experimental psychology at FDU, will deliver the keynote address, “Food for Thought: The Brain and Cuisine,” on the impact that certain foods have on the brain.
