Poster Exhibit at FDU's Florham-Madison Campus Library

Madison, NJ (November 15, 2001) Currently Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham-Madison Campus Library is featuring twenty years of posters which advertise and promote the New York Library’s Annual Book Fair. Admission is free and open to the public.

Each year, a famous children’s book illustrator contributes an exclusive poster to the fair, the proceeds of which are used to benefit the children’s services divisions of the New York Public Library and the Queens Borough Public Library. Illustrators include: Richard Scarry and Pierre Le-Tan, Arnold Lobel, James Stevenson, Sandra Boynton, Keith Haring, Charles M. Schultz, Stan and Jan Berenstein, Maurice Sendak, Berke Breathed, Chris Van Allsberg, William Joyce, Faith Ringgold, Hilary Knight, Lane Smith, James Gurney, Margaret Cusack, Leo and Diane Dillon, and Robert Sabuda.

The exhibit can be viewed from now until December 21, 2001, during normal library hours, Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m., Saturday, 11 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Sunday, 2 p.m.- 10 p.m. The FDU campus is located at 285 Madison Avenue, Madison, New Jersey (Route 124).
