FDU Offering Motorcycle Safety Education Classes this Fall


Teaneck, N.J. (August 31, 2009) —Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies will offer Motorcycle Safety Education (MSE) classes this fall. This basic riding course will be offered in three-day sessions with weekday or weekend dates, starting on Wednesday, September 9.


Classes will be held at FDU’s Metropolitan Campus (140 University Plaza Drive, Hackensack, N.J.).


Weekday classes will offered on either Monday, 6-10 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m., or on Wednesday, 6-10 p.m. and Thursday and Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Weekend classes will be offered on Friday, 6-10 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.


Weekday classes cost $250 and weekend classes cost $270.


FDU operates the oldest MSE program in Bergen County, N.J. and has become the premier MSE site in Bergen County. Established in 1997, FDU’s MSE program is approved by the chief administrator of the N.J. Motor Vehicle Commission.
