Bernetta McCall-Millonde Named Vice President

Teaneck, NJ (September 21, 2005) — Bernetta McCall-Millonde has been promoted to vice president for enrollment management at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She joined Fairleigh Dickinson in 2002 as University director for undergraduate admissions and in 2004, she was named associate vice president for admissions and financial aid.

McCall-Millonde has led the development of marketing and recruitment strategies that are integrated with the mission and goals of the University. The primary focus of her efforts is a comprehensive prospect-management plan that has led to an increase in applications and campus visitations and has improved the academic profile of the student body.

University President J. Michael Adams said, “Bernetta has been particularly effective generating a University-wide focus to enrollment management, empowering her staff members, fostering teamwork and strengthening cross-campus relationships.

“I am confident that she will continue to work effectively with administrators, faculty, staff and students to coordinate and focus institutional efforts on a student-centered approach to recruitment and retention.”

McCall-Millonde has 17 years of admissions experience, working at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Drexel University in Philadelphia and, before coming to FDU, Long Island University in Southampton, N.Y. She is especially interested in issues related to accessibility and retention for all students and equity for women in higher education.

She is a member of the New Jersey Association for College Admissions Counselors and the National Association for College Admissions Counselors.
