Business Practices: China and the United States
Dr. O'Keefe Specializes in Asian EconomicsBrazilian Government Medal Recipient to Speak at Fairleigh Dickinson University Madison, NJ -- September 13, 2002 – An overview, "Business Practices: China and the USA" will be given by Hsu O’Keefe, on Saturday, September 21 on Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Campus at Florham. The free lecture, sponsored by the Chinese American Business Institute at FDU, will be held in the Mansion’s Hartman Lounge at 9 a.m.
Dr. O’Keefe specializes in Asian and South American business and economics, as well as international trade, finance and management. She has consulted in these areas with private and government organizations in China, Brazil and Europe. In recognition of her contributions to Brazilian business and educational development activities, she received the prestigious Medal of Rio Branco from the Brazilian government.
Dr. O’Keefe is the author of "Chinese and Western Behavioral Differences: Understanding the Gaps," and "Small and Medium Size Business Experience in China." Currently she is adjunct professor of international economics and business in the Department of Economics, Finance and International Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Campus at Florham.
