Lambda Pi Eta Inducts Students

17 Students Admitted to Communication Honor Society

Madison, NJ --November 23, 2004 –Seventeen Fairleigh Dickinson University students were inducted into Lambda Pi Eta, the official communication studies honor society of the National Communication Association, at ceremonies held on the College at Florham Campus of FDU on Thursday, November 18, 2004.

The goals of Lambda Pi Eta are to recognize, foster and reward outstanding scholastic achievement, stimulate interest in the field of communication, promote and encourage professional development among communication majors, discuss and exchange ideas about the field, explore options for graduate studies and establish close relationships between faculty and students.

To be eligible for membership, students must have completed 60 undergraduate credits with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0, must have completed four communications courses with 3.25 in these courses and be currently enrolled as full time students in good standing with the university.
