A New Creative Space — iSpace — Now Available at FDU
Madison, NJ (August 14, 2007) — A new creative space in which to imagine, inspire and innovate, is now available to organizations and businesses. It is iSpace, located in the Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies at FDU’s campus in Madison, NJ.
James Barrood, the executive director of the Institute, said, “When people break out of the spaces they usually work in, barriers are removed and the imagination is ignited. Thinking differently in a fresh, new place fuels innovation and invigorates the senses.”
iSpace is a unique creative work space that is the perfect setting for brainstorming, innovation activities and team building. It also is an excellent environment for strategic planning and leadership development initiatives.
iSpace is a fun, open space that can accommodate groups of 10-50 people. There is a full range of multimedia and audiovisual resources, a creative tool kit for facilitators, onsite catering, whiteboards, and a variety of seating options including brightly colored inflatable furniture. An array of inspirational tools, games and "unusually creative" meeting supplies are available.
Situated on one of the most beautiful campuses in the state, outdoor activities and challenge equipment are also available. In addition, there are facilitation services and even a team cooking module that can be added to enhance any meeting.
“Whether the goal is to imagine the future, inspire the team or innovate for growth, iSpace is one of New Jersey's most creative meeting spaces,” said Barrood.
Part of the Fairleigh Dickinson’s Silberman College of Business since 1989, the Institute mission is to teach and support entrepreneurship and innovation in the academic, business and nonprofit communities. An outstanding entrepreneurship curriculum taught by an excellent faculty has helped make the academic program among the top 20 in the nation. In addition, its innovative outreach programs help people succeed in their new or growing ventures as well as in their corporations or organizations.
