“The Graduate ” To Be Staged on Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham
Madison, NJ - April 20, 2008 –“The Graduate,” the comedy which was first seen on Broadway in 2000, will be staged at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s College at Florham from Wednesday, May 7 through Saturday, May 10 at 8 p.m. There is a 2:30 matinee on Sunday, May 11. A special performance for high school students will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 9. All performances will be held in Dreyfuss Theater.
Admission is $10. Tickets can be purchased at the door or by calling 973-443-8467. Student admission with ID is $5.
We watch with humor as Bradley, a recent college graduate whose romantic adventures with his family friend’s wife and her daughter, evolves from a non-ambitious middle-class male to a powerful adversary.
The stage production was a smash in West End London and on Broadway in 2002 and is often produced in theaters across the United States. The stage version was based on the original movie, which received seven Oscar nominations and an Oscar for Mike Nichols.
