Opera at Florham Guild Hosts November Cabaret

Golden Age of the Americal Musical to be Featured

Madison, NJ –November 4, 2005 – Opera at Florham presents an evening of music from the Golden Age of the American Musical at the November 19th cabaret, “The Great American Songbook #2,” in Lenfell Hall, The Mansion, on the College at Florham Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University.

The program will feature songs, duets and ensembles from the music of Jerome Kern, Cole Porter, Vincent Youmans and Mark Blitzstein. The evening will be hosted by Opera at Florham’s Artistic Director Thomas Carlo Bo.

The Opera at Florham Guild, which sponsors the cabarets, invites patrons to bring tailgate menus at 7 p.m. Light refreshments are provided and groups of ten may reserve a table.

Admission is $35; seniors 65+, $30 and students with ID, $10. Reservations are necessary. To order tickets or for more information, call the Opera at Florham office, 973-443-8620.
