Global Education Grant

I am very pleased to announce that the state of New Jersey has awarded Fairleigh Dickinson University a Special Purpose Grant of $250,000 to support our global education initiatives.

This grant will enable the University, through our Office of Global Learning, to support new and existing programs that help bring the world to our campuses. In particular, these funds will be used to expand the global learning program by bringing U.N. ambassadors to the University, upgrading the Global Issues Gateway Web site and developing new academic area studies programs in different geopolitical regions.

I want to especially thank former governor Richard Codey, who was instrumental in awarding this grant to FDU. The initiatives supported by this grant will enhance our global mission and provide new opportunities for students, faculty and staff to gain international perspectives.
