Charter Day 2009

FDU's 20th Annual Charter Day Dinner honoring Stanley C. Gale,
chairman and managing partner, Gale International, raised
over $500,000 for student scholarships.

"The success of this year's Charter Day is extremely gratifying," said Rick Reiss, FDU's senior vice president for Institutional Advancement. "Raising more than a half-million dollars for scholarships in these difficult economic times is a wonderful accomplishment. I especially want to thank Stan Gale and his team for all of their hard  work, as well as PINNACLE Award honoree Chris Johnson, who went above and beyond to make it a great night."

Since 1990, Charter Day has raised more than $6 million toward scholarships for motivated students. Charter Day Scholars exhibit significant leadership on campus and in the larger community, and show a personal commitment to developing the same leadership qualities as Charter Day honorees.
