Rothman Institute Offers Free Female Entrepreneurial Seminars
Madison, NJ (January 16, 2009) — The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurial Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University will hold a series of Female Entrepreneur Alliance programs starting this month. The seminars provide an opportunity for female entrepreneurs to network and provide mentoring and support to one another.
The program is free and open to the public. Both men and women are invited to attend.
The Female Entrepreneur Alliance aims to provide speakers who can provide insight on general business issues and specifically, female entrepreneurship. Seminars on giving presentations, hiring, and managing the customer experience are planned for this semester:
Marlene Waldock, Founder and President of First Impression Communications, will explain how to prepare, organize, and present your ideas in her seminar “Putting ‘POP’ into Your Presentation” on Thursday, January 29. Linda Trignano of HR Performance Solutions will present “Hire Right!: Recruit & Retain Effectively” on Thursday, February 5. She will explore defining the open job, sourcing candidate, the interview process, and hiring the right person with the right skills.
Vicki Morgan of Russmor Marketing Group will present “Customer Experience Management: Prevent Churn, Attrition, Turnover, & Defection.” Morgan will discuss customer loyalty and satisfaction, how to show customers they matter to the business, why customers leave, and what customers want and how the business can meet their needs.
