Robert Evans Receives Pinnacle Award
Highest Award to Distinguished Alumnus
Madison, NJ (April 24, 2001) Robert Evans, audit partner in the Short Hills, NJ, office of Industrial and Consumer Markets Practice of KPMG LLP, was inducted into The Pinnacle, the highest award Fairleigh Dickinson University bestows on its alumni.
In a ceremony at the University on April 20, Evans, a magna cum laude graduate of the University’s Teaneck-Hackensack Campus, was honored for his leadership in the international arena for KPMG LLP, his work as chairman of the New Jersey World Trade Council, the New Jersey District Export Council and the International Trade Subcommittee of the New Jersey Economic Master Plan Commission.
In 1983,Evans was designated by KPMG LLP as one of the initial partners to have the title of an International Audit Partner and was also chosen to be the company’s U.S. International Liaison Partner for Germany.
A resident of Franklin Lakes, NJ, Evans is active in the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Northern New Jersey, the Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival and the United Way of Passaic County.
He has served his alma mater on the Council of Presidential Advisers, the executive committee of the University club and the board of advisers to the accounting program
