Fort Lee Artist Larry Eisenberg’s Paintings on Display
TEANECK, N.J. (July 28, 2011)— Paintings and graphics in acrylics by local artist Larry Eisenberg will be on display at the University College Art Gallery, on Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus Teaneck, N.J. from Monday, August 1, 2011, to Thursday, September 1, 2011. There will be an opening reception on Thursday, August 4 from 6-8:00 p.m.
A retired physician, Eisenberg has lived in Bergen County since 1962. He devotes many days each week to painting. A preview of pieces in the exhibit is available at http://ucoll.fdu.edu/arts/gallery/larry/index.html.
“Painting is not a hobby for me,” he said. “It has been a lifelong passion which I take very seriously.”
Eisenberg has been painting and drawing from his earliest recollection and has worked in practically every medium. Currently, and for the last several years, he has concentrated on acrylics and ink.
Born in New York City in 1932, he graduated from the High School of Music and Art then Columbia University. Currently residing in Fort Lee, he has lived in Teaneck and Englewood.
The University College Art Gallery is located in University Hall on the Metropolitan Campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, NJ. The Gallery hours are Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public. For directions or more information call 201-692-2801.
