Ms. Dickson has maintained close contact with Fairleigh Dickinson, recalling the semester she spent at FDU’s Wroxton College in England as one of her most memorable experiences. In 1998, she was the keynote speaker at the 35th anniversary celebration for Wroxton in 1998 .
Karen Lewis, assistant vice president for alumni relations, said, “Lori Lee is a dedicated and valued member of the Fairleigh Dickinson alumni community and I am very eager to work with her and the Board of Governors. Lori Lee is only the second woman in our history to serve as the President of the Board of Governors and I am very confident that she will continue the momentum needed to move our alumni association and its constituents to even greater success.”
Dickson chaired the Alumni-in-Admissions Committee where she was instrumental in coordinating alumni efforts in the admissions and recruiting processes for the University. Honored with both the CASTLE award and the Alumni Loyalty Award, she is a frequent panelist for career services and admission programs. She has participated in on-campus interviewing of candidates for University-based scholarships and has represented FDU at numerous presidential inaugurations at area colleges.
