Christopher Curcio Receives Volunteer of the Year Award from FDU

MADISON, N.J. (October 11, 2011)—At the annual Alumni Awards Ceremony held in conjunction with Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Homecoming Weekend at the College of Florham, Saturday, Oct. 1, Christopher Curcio, a resident of Paramus, N.J. was presented the Volunteer of the Year Award.

This annual award is given to an alumni who has contributed significantly to one or more of the following areas at FDU: academic programs, admissions, career development, student life, chapters, fundraising, or athletics.

Curcio graduated FDU in 1999 with a B.A. in Communication. During his enrollment at FDU Curcio brought the National Fraternity of Alpha Chi Rho to the Teaneck Campus where he served as president of the fraternity for two years. Curcio was also the vice president of the Inter-Greek Council.

Today, Curcio dedicates his time in leading and organizing the Annual Greek Alumni Reunion that just held its fourth consecutive reunion this year. The Annual Greek Alumni Reunion attracts over 100 alumni every year.

Currently, Curcio is in charge of sales for Gallo Wine Company. He has been in the wine business for eight years and continues to lead his company in growth and quota attainment. 

Curcio has also been responsible for the donation of wines to senior events each year to promote awareness of the campus’s class gift.
