"Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things" Book Discussion
Madison, NJ (March 28, 2005)— The public is invited to participate in a book discussion on “Cradle to Cradle: Remaking the Way We Make Things", by William McDonough and Michael Braungart.
The authors are partners in a firm that creates ecologically intelligent designs for corporations. They champion a cradle-to-cradle manufacturing model in which the materials are circulated infinitely in industrial cycles and which do not damage our environment, rather than using materials that end up as waste.
The discussion, to be held in the College at Florham Library on Tuesday, April 5 from 5-7 p.m., will be led by Biology-Allied Health professor Alice Shumate. Admission is free and refreshments will be served.
FDU’s Center for Human Resource Management Studies, the Center for Sustainable Enterprise and the Library sponsor this event.
Registration can handled by calling 973-443-8577, by fax at 973-443-8506, by e-mail at email@example.com, or online at www.chrms.org.
