Tom Colligan of PricewaterhouseCoopers Honored
Madison, NJ (June 8. 2004)óTom Colligan, vice chairman of client service at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, has received the highest award Fairleigh Dickinson University can bestow on its alumni. In a ceremony held June 4, 2004, Colligan was inducted into The Pinnacle.
Pinnacle recipients are chosen on the basis of success or distinction in their chosen fields; significant contributions to society and humanity through public or humanitarian service; and outstanding service to the university or reflection of the unique character of Fairleigh Dickinson in their lives.
Colliganís 35 years of global experience encompasses several industries, including telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and consumer products. As vice chairman of client service, Colligan is responsible for representing the organizationís top 100 accounts.
Since joining the firm more than 35 years ago, he has made significant contributions in the initial public offering of Lucent, the spin-off of AT&T Wireless and the trivestiture of AT&T. During Colliganís tenure, this practice grew from 18,000 to more than 22,000 professionals worldwide.
A licensed certified public accountant in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, Colligan is a member of these statesí societies of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
A Bernardsville, NJ, resident, he is involved in numerous community service activities, including the American Red Cross, and the Greater Philadelphia Girl Scouts and the New Jersey Institute of Technology Advisory Council. He is vice chair of the Board of the Newark Boys Chorus School and a member of the Board of Advisors of the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson.
