Fairleigh Dickinson University to Host Information Session on Training for Jobs in the Growing Healthcare Industry

Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) is hosting several information sessions on Wednesday, July 21 and Thursday, July 22 to provide the community with information on the types of job training the school offers in conjunction with Career Step, a leading online healthcare education company, for careers in the growing healthcare industry.

“These information sessions are designed to help people in our community discover growing career fields that they can train for quickly,” said Deborah Fredericks, Director of Operations in Continuing Education at FDU. “Healthcare continues to see gains in a wide variety of job opportunities, and we can help students prepare for successful careers in medical transcription or medical coding and billing in less than a year.”

FDU is holding information sessions on both the Metropolitan and College at Florham campuses:

The information sessions at the Metropolitan Campus will be held on Wednesday, July 21 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Dickinson Hall, Suite 1134 at 140 University Plaza Drive in Hackensack.

The College at Florham campus will host information sessions on Thursday, July 22 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Rutherford Room of the Ferguson Recreational Center in Madison.

All of these sessions will provide more information on the healthcare industry, medical transcription and medical coding careers, and the training programs. Attendees will also learn more about the school’s introductory free laptop offer for those who enroll in the new programs.
