FDU Professor’s art featured on TLC’s “Cake Boss”

TEANECK, N.J. (December 10, 2009)— Marie Roberts, a professor of art at Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Metropolitan Campus, had her paintings spotlighted in a recent episode of TLC’s show “Cake Boss.”

In the episode, “Cake Boss: Freaks, Fast Food & Frightened Frankie,” Roberts’ paintings were used as artwork on a special cake for the Coney Island Circus Sideshow. The episode originally aired on Monday, November 30, 2009.

Roberts is a prolific artist and she has had many exhibitions of her art. In addition to teaching art at FDU, she is an artist-in-residence at Coney Island USA. Roberts received her M.F.A. from Queens College, C.U.N.Y.
