Award-winning actor Philip Bosco to Speak at FDU as part of The Gene Barnett Speakers Series

Teaneck, NJ (March 10, 2011) The Gene Barnett Speakers Series of Fairleigh Dickinson University presents “An Evening with Philip Bosco” on Thursday, April 14 at 8 pm on FDU’s Metropolitan Campus. The evening will feature a Q&A interview with Bosco as he performs select readings from Shakespeare, George Bernard Shaw, Arthur Miller, and others. A Q&A session will follow the program.

A legendary star of stage and screen, Bosco has headlined numerous Broadway productions and has emerged as one of the finest contemporary interpreters of the works of George Bernard Shaw. He has also appeared in many films and popular television productions such as “My Best Friend’s Wedding,” “Law & Order” and “Damages.” A long-time resident of Teaneck, he presently lives in Haworth, New Jersey.

Mr. Bosco’s presentation will begin at 8 p.m. in FDU’s Wilson Auditorium, Dickinson Hall, 140 University Plaza Drive, Hackensack NJ.  The evening is open to the general public with tickets at $8 per person. Tickets will be available at the door starting at 7:30 p.m. on the evening of the event.
