Fairleigh Dickinson University presents Marilyn Bogdanffy watercolor and oil prints on display at Edward Williams Gallery October 1 to November 2, 2012
Teaneck, NJ (September 19, 2012) — Oil and watercolor prints by Marilyn Bogdanffy will be displayed at FDU’s Edward Williams Gallery from October 1 to November 2, 2012.
Marilyn Bogdanffy has taken the surroundings of her home on Block Island, Rhode Island and turned them into her inspiration for her works. The painting being exhibited, both in oil and watercolor are of the elements that define for her, the character of Block Island. Bogdanffy describes her work as contemporary realism.
Bogdanffy has been exhibiting her paintings for over 20 years, receiving awards and acclaim in galleries all over the country. Her inspiration for art and painting began with such artists as Norman Rockwell, John Singer Sargent and Andrew Wyeth.
The Edwards Williams Gallery, located at 150 Kotte Place, Hackensack, is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
