Presentation for Family Business Stakeholders at FDU
MADISON, NJ (January 28, 2014)— Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship will be hosting a presentation for family business stakeholders on February 13, 2014 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Rutherford Room, Ferguson Recreation Center, as part of its 2014 O.Berk Company Family Business Forum program.
The speaker, Blair Trippe, Principal of Continuity Family Business Consulting in Massachusetts, will present, “Family Enterprise: What Stakeholders and Their Advisers Need to Know.”
Family business stakeholders recognize that their environment is more complicated, largely because they recognize the importance of maintaining the strength of their business and family relationships.
In this comprehensive presentation, Blair will discuss key practices from a consultant’s perspective who also has been a family business stakeholder. Vital elements of family-business conflict management will be discussed, including the motivations of each stakeholder group, understanding where power is held in the family business and the importance of professional collaboration in helping family-business stakeholders. Attendees will leave with practical techniques to further the future of their families and their businesses.
