Madison, NJ (May 7, 2014) — The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship is once again offering a one-week camp designed to teach students entering grades 9-12 the basics of business.
Discover Business Teen Camp, now in its 11th year, will be hosted by the University’s top ranked entrepreneurship center. Experienced instructors and counselors will lead all classes in learning basic skills that can be applied in all areas of life – school, business and the world.
During this week-long day camp, campers will learn skills that can be applied to all areas of life. Campers will be immersed in team work and leadership, group dynamics, marketing, personal finance and networking, and introduced to business planning and entrepreneurship, learning skills essential to business and life. Participants also will be provided with lunch and snacks and able to choose from a variety of other outdoor activities.
The Rothman Institute of Entrepreneurship, Fairleigh Dickinson’s nationally recognized entrepreneurship center, sponsors the camp. Part of FDU’s Silberman College of Business since 1989, the mission of the Rothman Institute is to teach and support entrepreneurship and innovation in the academic, business and nonprofit communities. An outstanding entrepreneurship curriculum taught by an excellent faculty has helped make the academic program among the finest in the nation (as ranked by the Princeton Review).
