Donald G. Begosh Named to Board of Trustees at Fairleigh Dickinson University
Donald G. Begosh, co-founder and president of The Begosh Group, Inc., Hillsdale, NJ, has been named to the Board of Trustees of Fairleigh Dickinson University. As the new president of the University’s Alumni Association’s Board of Governors, he holds an ex officio seat on the University’s Board of Trustees.
Dr. J. Michael Adams, president of the University, said, "In representing the nearly 100,000 alumni of Fairleigh Dickinson, Don Begosh will be an important addition to the Board. When you couple his management experience with his expertise in human resources and his understanding of and commitment to the University, the Board is indeed fortunate to have his involvement."
Prior to establishing BGI, Begosh held senior management positions at Lever Brothers Company, the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. and the American Management Association. In 1994, he established The Begosh Group, Inc., a human resources consulting and training organization. It provides individuals with the personal learning resources to help them achieve their full potential. It furnishes clients with the tools enabling them to become more competitive in today’s global marketplace.
His business school lecturing includes Columbia, Kellogg, Fuqua (Duke), Stern (NYU), and the University of Michigan. He has been listed in Strathmore’s Who’s Who since 1998.
He holds a B.S. degree in industrial management and an MBA in Management for Executives from Fairleigh Dickinson. In addition to his current position as president of the Alumni Association’s Board of Governors, he co-chaired the Annual Fund Committee of the Alumni Association and was a member of the Executive Board of the former FDU Club New York. Last year, he received the "Castle Award" for his commitment to the alumni and to the University.
Fairleigh Dickinson University, one of the largest private universities in New Jersey, has nearly 10,000 graduate and undergraduate students from 30 states and more than 60 countries enrolled on the University’s two Northern New Jersey campuses and its overseas campuses in Wroxton, England, and Tel Aviv, Israel.
The University is dedicated to the preparation of world citizens through global education and offers nearly 100 degree programs at the associate, baccalaureate, master’s and doctoral levels.
