Adults Achieving New Goals in 2009

TEANECK, NJ (July 14 2009) – Adults interested in completing or starting a college degree can learn more about opportunities for adult learners at an open house hosted by Fairleigh Dickinson University in August.

Prospective students can meet with FDU faculty and staff to find out more about the adult-friendly programs offered at the university’s two New Jersey campuses. The open house events will be held at:
•    Metropolitan Campus (Teaneck, NJ) – Wednesday, Aug. 5, 6 to 8 p.m.
Dickinson Hall
•    College at Florham (Madison, NJ) – Wednesday, Aug. 19, 6 to 8 p.m.
Hennessy Hall (The Mansion)

A leader in adult education for more than a half-century, Fairleigh Dickinson offers a wide range of degree completion and certificate programs for adults seeking career advancement.

At the open house, participants will learn about FDU’s generous transfer policies, financial aid and financing options, and talk to faculty about such popular programs as business, education and nursing, plus FDU’s Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies (BAIS). Faculty and staff will be on hand to answer questions about the university’s adult-friendly weekend and evening classes, short-term certificate programs and credit for life experience. Adults interested in enrolling in Fall 2009 can also receive an on-the-spot conditional admission decision. Refreshments will be provided and ample free parking is available.
