Food Network Star Alton Brown Reveals Secrets To Success at Metropolitan Campus
Alton Brown, expert food commentator on Iron Chef America and host of the Food Network shows Good Eats and The Next Iron Chef America, is participating in a broadcast event sponsored by FDU’s Office of Student Life, Metropolitan Campus.
This speaking engagement will be broadcast live from FDU as part of the National Society of Leadership & Success speaker series, which reaches over 240+ college campuses and 130,000+ students each month during the academic year. FDU’s Office of Student Life hosts a chapter of the Society on campus, which has inducted over 450 members into its leadership community in the past three years.
Alton is the author of several NY Times best-selling cooking how-to books. His most recent book is Good Eats 3: The Later Years. As the writer, director, and host of the popular show Good Eats, Alton brings his knowledge, enthusiasm, and humor to every show. Now he is going to do the same for the campus community during his one-hour presentation entitled, “A Few Secrets of my Semi-Moderate Success.” When asked who should attend this presentation, Alton said, “Unless you’re already rich and famous, you may want to show up for this one!”
The presentation will focus on helping students, faculty, and staff discover their unique and untapped powers. Those attending will receive valuable training in how to strategically plan their careers, as well as Alton’s personal technique of embracing ‘opportunistic mutation.’
